There’s something wrong
                              I know there is
Deny it all you want
                              You can’t hide from it
Or from me.
Don’t you see
          The possibilities?
I know you hurt
But you won’t tell me why?
I thought i was a little more to you than that.
Why can’t you see?
I can help you fly!
          I can give you wings
          And let you soar away
And though I stay here
                              On the ground
My mind is calmer
                              With you safe and sound
My heart beats slower
                              With you in the sky
Knowing that up there
                              You’ll never die.
As long as you fly
And though I stay down
I can lift you from the ground.
And do for you what someday
                    Someone will do for me.
But none of this matters
                    None of this happens
If you don’t open up to me
Is it that much to ask?
You can’t patch a hole from outside
You can’t fix a room
                    When the door is
                                                  Locked.
My heart aches
          Because I can’t help you
Because you won’t let me in.
I’ll help you fly
          Up to the starry sky
But it’ll go nowhere
When I can’t come in
So all I ask
          Let me help you
                                                  Please,

DON’T LOCK ME OUT.
There you have it.

Dedicated to someone. Won't say who. Several someones, kinda, but one in particular.

when i was reading this, i could totaly imagine two people saying this... like one person would say the first line, then someone else would say the second line, but then the third and fourth lines would be said by the first person, and then the questions would be asked by the second person... don't know if that makes any sense, but that's what i was totally picturing when i was reading it. lol. it's great. it's a bit depressing, but it's so good. i hope this isn't reflecting your own emotions right now, and if it is, i hope things get better for you.
